Mark and Elizabeth,

I am the mother of four children. Two of whom have already received a heart transplant at UCLA. One almost five years ago and one last year. September 18th 2008 as a matter of fact. You are in the most incredible place in the world! I know your fear, I know your loneliness. The only way we were able to get through this was to BELIEVE. Believe in yourselves as parents, believe in the wonderful doctors and nurses and believe that God wouldn't have gotten you this far to let you down now. If you ever felt like talking (anytime day or night) please email me and I will give you my phone number. You can ask the transplant team about me too. I am praying for you and your whole family and will continue to as long as your journey continues. You can also see my daughter Allie's web page @ www.caringbridge.org go to visit up in the left hand corner. Then when it asks for the name put in allisonvonzup. (all one word) God be with you and please feel free to contact me if I can lend a hand, ear or hug.
